The Bow (skyscraper)

The Bow is a 236 meter high office building in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building has a total of 58 floors, of which 53 floors of office space, two floors of restaurants and shops and three Skygardens. The Canadian energy company EnCana Corporation has the highest office building in Calgary's headquarters.

History

Early planning

The construction of a new headquarters was the company EnCana Corporation in 2006. EnCana is North America 's second largest natural gas producer. The first plans were originally made ​​of two buildings. The largest building of this planning should include 60 floors or more. As an example, the Suncor Energy Centre, which is located in the immediate neighborhood in downtown served. Construction

The official start of construction was June 13, 2007. Construction began on both sides at the same time in the 6th Avenue Street between Centre Street and 1st Street.
