The 13 slaves of Dr. Fu Man Chu is the second film of Dr. Fu -Man -Chu - series of the British producer Harry Alan Towers.

Action

Fu Manchu will again rule the world. From the Temple Karna in Lebanon he will send energy waves to destroy entire cities. His first goal, the destruction of the ship Windsor Castle, he succeeds. Before Fu Man Chu had 11 scientists blackmailed by kidnapping their wives or daughters ( the 13 said slaves of the movie title ). Terrence Spencer recognizes Fu Man Chu's plans and leaves Otto Lenz by Franz Baumer exchange.

Terrence Spencer and Franz Baumer finally manages to free the hostages. The destruction of London turns Otto Lenz off by successfully superimposed Fu Man Chu's energy waves.

Background

The film is based on Sax Rohmer's novel "The Brides of Fu Manchu ". Producer Harry Alan Towers wrote the screenplay under the pseudonym Peter Welbeck. In the English version, there are other role names. That's the name Douglas Wilmers role there Nayland Smith - Fu Man Chu as an opponent - instead of Terrence Spencer and Carole Gray's role Michèle Merlin Merlin instead Maggy. Furthermore, the film music was written in the English version of Bruce Montgomery.
