The Casualties

The Casualties are an American street punk band from New York City. " Casualties " is the English term for missing, wounded or fallen soldiers.

Band History

The group was formed around 1990 and follows in her music style quite the tradition of English hardcore punk of the early 1980s. This also applies to the exterior of the musicians, which is based on the then prevailing fashion, which determines the punk cliché today.

The Casualties are measured at scene standards established very professional, such as a wide range of merchandising items is available. They are by tours on several continents widely known. Parts of the scene threw them "selling out " before.

The occupation of Casualties has changed several times since its inception, the only remaining founding member is the lead singer Jorge Herrera. The current (as of 20xx ) line-up has remained unchanged since 2000. Kolatis guitarist was already in release of the first EP of the Casualties. The drummer of the band - Eggers - since the mid- 1990s, a member of the group; the debut album For the Punx (1997) he worked with. The latest additions is the bassist Lopez, who joined the group in 1999. The album Stay out of Order ( 2000) is the first one that was recorded in the constellation unchanged until today ( Herrera, Lopez, Kolatis, Eggers ). The Casualties in 2012 signed a deal with Season of Mist and published in September the same year her eleventh album.
