Background

The film about the Kirov Ballet School describes the recording and training conditions for young Russian dancers after the Vaganova method at the Choreographic Institute Leningrad. Among the alumni of the Academy include Vaslav Nijinsky and Anna Pavlova.

Were initially for the role of the narrator Margot Fonteyn, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward in the conversation.
