The Concretes
The Concretes are a Swedish band from Stockholm, currently consisting of 7 members.
History
The Concretes began as a girl trio with Victoria Bergsman, Maria Eriksson, and Lisa Milsberg. The band quickly grew to eight members. In addition, there are a number of "Honorary Concretes ", that honor members who make music on their albums.
Their song Say Something New underlaid the U.S. commercials the supermarket chain Target Corporation.
The Song You Can not Hurry Love is part of the soundtrack to the film Elizabethtown.
The Avalanches released a remix of the song Chico.
Singer Victoria Bergsman left the band in 2006 to start a solo career. With Taken by Trees It launched its first project.
