Band History
The Connell brothers grew up in Macon, Georgia, USA, but were more interested in British bands like the Beatles, rather than the local trendy Southern rock. In 1984 they formed with college friends in Raleigh (U.S. state of North Carolina), named after them guitar band.
The Connells made since its founding in only slightly changed line. Drummer John Schultz was only in the first year of the band here, already on the cover of the first album is called Peele Wimberley. Guitarist George Huntley, who decisively helped to shape the band's style and was represented on every album with more of their own songs, the band left in 2001. Potak Steve in 1991 a member of the Connells and was first heard on the album " Ring".
In addition to the activities in the band there are a few other things to the members, for example, MacMillan played with in almost all films in which the original drummer John Schultz directed.
Achievements
The only international success for the Group with the album ring and the lead single '74 - '75 in 1995.
