Band History

The Connell brothers grew up in Macon, Georgia, USA, but were more interested in British bands like the Beatles, rather than the local trendy Southern rock. In 1984 they formed with college friends in Raleigh (U.S. state of North Carolina), named after them guitar band.

The Connells made ​​since its founding in only slightly changed line. Drummer John Schultz was only in the first year of the band here, already on the cover of the first album is called Peele Wimberley.
