The D4

The D4 is a rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. Their music is distributed by Hollywood Records in the U.S., Flying Nun Records in New Zealand and Infectious Records in the UK.

Band History

The band was founded by Dian Palmer and Jimmy Christmas, both guitarists and singers. They made time for fun, a collection of pieces together and even brought two other members in the band. Her first appearance they had in the Frisbee Leisure Lounge in St. Symonds. Soon followed even appearances in the local pubs downtown.

The band's debut album was released on Flying Nun Records in 1999, and contains, among other things, the pieces girl and Come on!. The band's style can be described as " hard rock with many, energetic guitar solos " describe.
