The Danish Poet - A Love Story is a Norwegian- Canadian animated short film by Torill Kove from the year 2006.

Action

The narrator thought earlier, all life come from outer space and arises purely coincidental. In fact, her parents met after a series of coincidences. It all started at the home of Danish poet Kasper Jørgensen in Copenhagen. The suffering from writer's block and therefore visited the psychiatrist Dr. Morg, who advises him to a holiday in Norway. He reads her novel Kristin Lavransdatter, an epic story about a young woman who is promised to a man, against the will of the Father but marries another, and spends her life miserable.
