Content

Musically, this is the most complex work that NOFX have ever recorded. The piece begins with the typical NOFX Fat Mike's driving rhythm loud and rough voice and the brief shouts of Eric Melvin ( the so-called " Mel yells "). In the course of the piece the rapid drumming is frequently interrupted, eg due to sudden slow parts where the voice over goes to the Gentle and the guitar is only used minimally, or parts, in which nothing is heard as distorted sounds of explosions. A theme is repeated several times in different locations rhythm, while you can hear played by El Hefe wind instruments and a constant chord. With this theme, the song from about 14 min 55 s of sounds. Only weak, then more and more clearly, you will hear a tighter, goose-stepping, bells, and the shouts of crowds. Only after two and a half minutes the music fades then very slowly.

Lyrically, the song is directed against a whole series of errors, see NOFX in the American system. The song is deplored, among other things, that the U.S. people instill patriotism and want to cover up their own mistakes so. Also, there is criticism that the people themselves are afraid of the truth and of change.
