Action
Marc is a young man who works as an apprentice in a hair salon. He is a big motorsport fan and dreams of participating as a racing driver in car racing. This weekend, a race is held, attended by amateur riders are allowed to participate. Marc trained at night with the Porsche of his boss, who knows nothing and has logged on using this car for the race. Then he learns, however, that his boss plans a trip just this weekend. Marc needed a new car for the race. First, he is able to get a new car training. He persuades an Indian impersonate Maharaja who wants to ride in the Porsche salon of Brussels, a Porsche to the sample. A customer at a hair salon makes him a contact to a car rental. But there one demands a deposit of 15.000, - francs which Marc has not. With his new friend Michèle he visited an automobile exhibition. Fascinated, she walks through the fair. Marc tried doing to steal spare parts, but what Michèle can prevent. Some money comes the next day by selling old things in a junk dealer. Marc tries a Bunches sell what fails. Finally, he tries to steal a car, but even this fails. Desperate and despondent sitting Marc and Michèle evening before the start of the race at the hair salon. The film participated in the competition at the International Film Festival in Berlin in 1967 and won the Golden Bear. After the victory in the previous year by Roman Polanski comes with Katelbach ... If it was the second victory of a young Polish director at the festival after another.
