Reviews

Reviewers appreciate the American remake of a worse than the German original. The critic of cinema.de thinks that Scheuring " the exciting material for pure prison Action [ do ]. The plate " psychology " could push through under the cell door. " A similar conclusion Christoph Petersen comes in filmstarts.de. He throws the director claims to have not understood the Stanford Prison experiment, and notes: "Instead of psychological drama " The Experiment "so a his claim deprived prison film, which is quite superfluous [ despite the strong cast]. " Dirk Hoffmann missing in his review at zelluloid.de " which is actually perfectly ordinary characters, the mutant in the experimental situation to violent psychopaths. This alarming trend is the remake by Paul Scheuring from, unfortunately, as the two guards, the least against the use of recoil force, have been battered, psychologically already in their " normal" lives.
