The Explosion

The explosion was a punk band from Boston.

The band was founded in 1998 by Matt Hock, Dave Walsh, Damian Genaurdi and Dan Colby in Boston. Sam Cave came one years later added. Damian Genaurdi was formerly bassist for In My Eyes, Sam Cave was a guitarist in Trouble.

The explosion was allowed in the U.S. the stage with, among others, AFI Sick Of It All and share. In the autumn of 2002 the band got a record deal from Virgin. Rather than devote themselves to their major-label debut, founded The explosion Tarantulas Records, which should serve as a platform for other bands.

On 30 April 2007, the band broke up.
