The Forsythe Company

The Forsythe Company is the ballet company of choreographer William Forsythe.

After the closure of the city's Frankfurt Ballet at the end of the season 2003/2004, the Forsythe Company was founded as a private ballet company, which started the game Operation with the first performance on 21 April 2005. The Forsythe Company is supported by the cities of Frankfurt am Main and Dresden, the states of Hesse and Saxony and private sponsors such as the Frankfurt patronage Association for the Municipal Theatre Association

Venues include the Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt and the Festspielhaus Hellerau in Dresden, which had housed the modern dance before the First World War. In addition, find guest appearances in various cities instead, including the Prince Regent Theatre in Munich, the Théâtre national de Chaillot in Paris, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
