The Gothard Sisters

The Gothard Sisters is a music group from the Pacific Northwest of the United States, practiced Irish music and dances.

Band Members

The group consists of the three sisters Greta, Willow and Solana Gothard. From an early age she learned how to deal with different instruments, the Irish dance they learned at her mother and in the dance school. Since then, they have learned other instruments, including guitar, mandolin, bodhran and other percussion.

Greta, the oldest of three sisters, began already with 5 years to play classical violin, and later guitar. She qualified three times for the "Western Championships " in Irish dancing. Furthermore, they produced the music videos of the sisters.

Willow began exactly like her sister Greta with 5 years of playing the violin. They also did this in orchestras. In 2007 she began playing the bodhran. The mandolin began to interest from 2010 and plays with her and she composes Irish melodies. In addition, you sew the costumes.

Solana, the youngest member of the Gothard Sisters, began already with 3 years to learn is how to play a violin. The Irish dancing, she was the youngest participant of the North - Western Championship, which gave it to this day. At that time she was just 11 years old. She is the singer of the Gothard Sisters. She also plays most of rhythmic instruments.
