The Grease Band

The Grease Band ( engl. the grease - band ) was a British rock band, 1966 by Joe Cocker (vocals) and Chris Stainton (bass, keyboards) was founded in Sheffield.

As a companion volume of Cocker she was with his first hit single in 1968 Marjorine it, which was surprising a Top 50 hit in the UK. The next single, a cover version of the Beatles song With A Little Help From My Friends, shot and got to number 1 on the charts.
