The two children Billy and Mandy defeat the Grim Reaper in a limbo contest. From now on, he has them available pursuant to an agreement as the best friend to the side. They often come in unusual situations.
Main Characters
The Grim Reaper, often called Sense, no one really needs a more detailed description. Since he is the " best friend " of Billy and Mandy, he must help them often and they even operate under certain circumstances. Often it drop the two extreme on my nerves, he much rather would again pursue his old job.
Billy is a boy with an oversized nose. He is friendly, but not too clever ( his IQ is 5 ). He thinks it's great that Sense is his friend because he can so learn new tricks. Billy also has a great fear of clowns.
Mandy is in the truest sense of the word a sourpuss and disgust. She is always concerned only with their own advantage and seems to be something not to know such as compassion or friendship. Most of the time she is in a bad mood and laughs rather rare. Even their parents are afraid of her and let her get away with just about anything. The only thing that even Mandy is afraid of, is a ausrastender Billy.
Harold is Billy's father and the person from whom he has had enough. Harold is quite overweight and only slightly smarter than his son. He is very tolerant basically his son opposite; it only forbids him to put on his lucky pants. Harold's job is unknown.
Gladys is Billy's mother and Harold's wife. She is very caring and patient. However scythe against them is very suspicious and often sharpens him, her son has nothing to do harm. Often she doubts that Mandy is a good deal for Billy.
Irwin is an African-American friend Billy and Mandy still in love in this. Unfortunately, his efforts are not just successful.
The legendary vampire Count occurred already in many guises; in this series he's doing this for the first time as an African- American. Supposedly he is Irwin's grandfather. He's an old friend of the Grim Reaper and also the announcer of the mini - series Billy 's birthday.
Production and publication
The series was produced from 2001 to 2007 from Cartoon Network to the design of Maxwell Atoms. The music was composed by Guy Moon. The transmitter Cartoon Network beamed series of 78 episodes in seven seasons from August 24, 2001 to November 9, 2007, including four special episodes. There are also three films.
Cartoon Network sends the series since 2007 also in Germany. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was translated into Spanish, among others, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
