The Gutter Twins

The rock band The Gutter Twins is a joint project of the rock musician Greg Dulli ( The Afghan Whigs, The Twilight Singers) and Mark Lanegan ( Screaming Trees, QOTSA ). So far, Sub Pop was released a studio album and an EP on the label.

Background

Dulli and Lanegan have been friends for a long time and have supported each other in their respective projects. So Lanegan was a guest musician on various albums / EPs of the Twilight Singers (Blackberry Belle, She Loves You, A Stitch in Time ), Dulli again participated in the recording of Goose Lane studio album Bubblegum.

Saturnalia (2008-2009)

On 4 March 2008, so far the only studio album Saturnalia was released. Besides Lanegan and Dulli were involved in the recording and subsequent tour essentially musicians in the Twilight Singers.

In September 2008, the EP Adorata, which was not published as a download only followed. Part of the proceeds was dedicated to the Natasha Shneider Memorial Fund. So on Adorata a cover of the song Flow Like A River of Eleven, the band Shneiders.
