The Heartland Institute

The Heartland Institute is an American conservative and libertarian think tank based in Chicago.

Establishment and operation fields

The nonprofit organization was founded in 1984 and has set itself claims to aim to promote market-based solutions to social and economic problems and develop. First, we addressed issues of the Midwest and expanded in 1993, the program clearly. Heartland has 31 employees under the management of Joseph Bast and Herbert Walberg as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Passive smoking and climate change

In the 1990s, the Heartland Institute Philip Morris helped in the dissemination of material with which the relationship between passive smoking and lung cancer should be questioned. Heartland had fought beside for years for climate- skeptical positions and was also well known internationally.

Unsuccessful Billboard Campaign 2012
