FBI hunts Phantom is an American science fiction film directed by Hugo Grimaldi from the year 1965.

Action

The gigantic Dr. Kolos is an alien in human form. He intended to create on Earth a colony of androids that will infiltrate governments and prepare an invasion. Kolos takes over the estate of cybernetics expert Professor Dornheimer. It replaces the professor and his staff by androids. Only spike -heimer's blind niece Lisa is not replaced by an android.

The Secret Service agent instructed Martin to investigate thefts in laboratories and other scientific institutions that were committed by their members. These people, of course, all androids disappear according to their deeds. Martin's investigation also leads him to spike -heimer's estate. There he is captured and duplicated with an android. Martins doppelganger puts false trails, but the agent Gale Wilson becomes suspicious. Wilson caught him stealing electronic parts, but he manages to escape.

The Dornheimer Android begins to rebel against Kolos, who has fallen in love with the blind Lisa. Although Kolos can defeat his opponent, but at the same time helps Lisa the real Agent Martin to flee. With the help of real thorn heimer he can destroy the androids with laser beams. Kolos is preparing to return to his world, where he will talk about his failed mission. It represents Lisa's vision restores and reveals to her that he is destroyed by his report. That makes him, however, from anything, since he found out that he himself was also an android.

The premiere took place on 3 March 1965. In Germany the film was first shown on 15 December 1967.

The independent film directed had to make do with a budget of 140,000 U.S. dollars.

The main characters Nader and Kiel were known to the German public in other roles later. Nader played eight times the FBI agent Jerry Cotton, 218 cm wide keel was a biter, a villain with steel teeth, in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker - Streng known secret.
