The incorrigible Barbara is a German contemporary film DEFA by Lothar Warneke from the year 1977.
Action
Barbara was once a successful swimmer, who had made it to the national team of the GDR. Out of love for her husband, she gave up her swimming career and followed him to the small town Ergsleben. Her husband Herbert worked as a mathematician and developed, among other large calculators. Barbara began as unskilled workers to work in spinning a textile company, in which Herbert's mother was employed. This made Barbara on, so she qualified as a skilled worker. Now Barbara is on the verge of qualification for the Champion and will be supported in their actions by their superiors Ferdinand. Even when Barbara's examination paper a rigorous rethinking demands in the labor and training methods which all workers would ask more of use, Ferdinand stands behind her. Barbara is an energetic woman with high goals. Production
The incorrigible Barbara was filmed under the working title spinners 1976. Director Warneke was able to draw on his own experiences, he had worked himself temporarily in a cotton mill. The costumes of the film created Regina district, Brigitte and Werner Pleissner Pleissner, the scene image comes from Dieter Adam.
The incorrigible Barbara lived on 11 March 1977 in Leipzig Capitol his movie premiere and ran on the same day in the cinema of the GDR. On 1 May 1978 he was first broadcast on DDR 2 in the GDR Television and ran on 15 October 1996 on ORB for the first time in the all-German television. At the Berlinale 1983, the film was shown in a retrospective.
The film was one of the first screen roles by Johanna Schall. Cox Habbema and Eberhard Esche, who are friends in the film were already married at the time of the shooting.
Criticism
The contemporary criticism of the GDR was that the movie does not become a " well-rounded whole Stitching [t].
