The Joker's Jinx

The Joker's Jinx at Six Flags America ( Upper Marlboro, Maryland, USA) is a steel roller coaster from the model LIM Catapult coaster manufacturer Premier Rides, which opened on 8 June 1999. The manufacturer uses LIMs to accelerate the train within 3 seconds at 97 km / h.

There are of this model world six roller coasters, four of them in the U.S.. In the same year a structurally identical plant was opened in sister park Six Flags Fiesta Texas with Poltergeist.

The Joker's Jinx has two trains of Premier Rides, each with six cars. In each car four persons ( two rows ) can take place. As restraint system individually einrastente lap bar and seat belts are used. The Joker's Jinx was originally built with shoulder-straps. For the 2002 season the shoulder restraints were replaced with lap bar.
