The King of Nieznanowo

The King of Nieznanowo (Polish: Król Nieznanowa ) is an oak tree that grows in the forest of Nieznanowo.

The location of this Oak is located in Sector 488 of the National Park.

The trunk circumference is at a height of 130 cm from the trunk base 620 cm. The tree has a height of 38 m. There is an oak tree with a rank of most tribes under the oaks of the Białowieża National Park. The first branches branch off at a height of 18 m. The tree has a columnar trunk, which is embedded in an interesting way in the ground. Since 1988, we observed a gradual withering of the tree. Today, only two small branches still have leaves (as of 2005). Since the mid-1960s of the 20th century, the girth grew by about 45 cm.
