The Lizardman

Erik Sprague ( born June 12, 1972), known by the stage name The Lizardman ( The Lizard Man ) is a freak and show artists of his body by means of several body modifications, such as large-scale tattoos, a forked tongue, polished teeth and jewelry implants, the appearance of a lizard has adapted.

Private

After his birth Erik Sprague grew up with his three years younger sister Eirin on in Ellenburg ( Clinton County, USA). He studied philosophy at Hartwick collage in Oneonta with a scholarship under the National Merit Scholarship Program. He graduated in 1994 with his Bachelor of Arts. In 1996, he began his doctoral work at the University of Albany, which he broke off in 1999 to devote himself to his non-academic career completely.

On November 19, 2003, he married his wife, Meghan, whom he had known since 1999, in Las Vegas. He has lived since 2001 with Meghan in Austin.

Body modifications

At the age of 21 years Erik Sprague began his Body Modification. He was inspired by the television series V - The Final Battle. Erik Sprague is frontman of the band Lizard Skynard. From 2003 to 2008 he appeared with the band Disturbed together on the Jagermeister tour and in the movie Modify as Boxboarders.
