The McClatchy Company is an American media conglomerate. McClatchy publishes print and online media and is also still active in other areas of business on the internet. The company's headquarters is located in Sacramento, California.

The Group has some 30 newspapers - both newspapers for U.S. metropolitan areas as well as other newspapers for smaller American communities. Furthermore, McClatchy operates a number of websites, in addition to online newspapers and other web services such as advertising, ads and e-commerce are offered. According to the company, the Group is the third largest provider of daily newspapers in the U.S. market.
