The Miami Herald

The history of the newspaper began on 15 September 1903 as The Miami Evening Record appeared. This sheet was the forerunner of today's newspaper. Since 2006, the newspaper publisher, The Miami Herald Media Company belongs to the media group The McClatchy Company. 20 times the Pulitzer Prize has been awarded since 1951 journalists from the newspaper.

The sister newspaper El Nuevo Herald is aimed at the large Spanish-speaking community in Miami and the surrounding area.
