The Plugz

The Plugz (also known as " Los Plugz " ) were a Latino punk rock band from Los Angeles that existed from 1978 to 1984.

Band History

Originally the group consisted of Tito Larriva (vocals, guitar), Charlie Quintana (drums) and Barry McBride ( bass). This band recorded their debut album Electrify Me. McBride left the band before the recording of their second album Better Luck, which was recorded with guest musicians. As a result, there were further reshuffles.

The band's songs were used for the soundtrack of two films (see discography ). On March 22, 1984, she played with Bob Dylan in the TV show Late Night with David Letterman three titles.

1984, the group changed its name and called himself Cruzados. On 11 September 2007 the original members of the Plugz came together once again to perform at The Masque 30th Anniversary Party and book launch in Los Angeles.
