The Poets

The Poets were a Scottish band in the 60s. What the group was different from the numerous other bands of that era, was the fact that they received no cover versions of already known songs, but right from the start writing their own songs.

In 1964 she came with Andrew Oldham, the manager of the Rolling Stones, under contract and released their first single, " Now We're Thru". Although these debuted at number 30 in the UK charts, remained from another commercial success.
