Texts

The band's name is derived from the word Beberast, a synonym for Bifrost, the bridge, which in Old Norse mythology, the Earth realm, Midgard, the kingdom of heaven, Asgard, connects. However, the texts do not contain any themes from the Germanic paganism, but it will be mainly used references from the Bible - Old Testament symbolism with anti-Christian and misanthropic tendencies. Another recurring theme is the biblical end of the world; in the text of The Restless Mills Meilenwald describes the inevitable, in his view the end, which is brought about by mankind under the eyes of a sent by Yahweh Messiah. Other titles have a connection to the Middle Eastern mythologies, the lyrics of the song Theriak Baal Theriak describes the awakening of the demon Baal. Meilenwald chose to connect to the Oriental- European antiquity, since this is the " cradle" of today's society; the task was " to transfer their archaic dogmas and their cultural heritage metaphorically in modern times ."
