The Screaming Blue Messiahs

The Screaming Blue Messiahs were a 1983 in London by Bill Carter (vocals and guitar), Chris Thompson ( bass) and Kenny Harris ( drums) founded band. Their musical style combines elements of blues, country, punk and rockabilly. Precursor bands The Small Brothers and Motor Boys were motor. Their first LP, the mini-album, Good and Gone, held six months at a stretch in the independent charts. They released three albums on major labels and had a UK Top 40 single ( I wanna be a flintstone, # 28 in 1987 ). After the third album, they were dropped by their record company, setting off a short time later on.
