The Shapies

The Shapies is an Australian computer-animated children's series that aired from July 6 to December 30, 2002 in Australia on the Nine Network and stations in the United States on PBS Kids. The series includes 26 episodes.

Background

The program is aimed at four -to eight- year-old children and deals with the adventures of Shapies, a rock band consisting of ten different geometric shapes. The Shapies appear from a toy box in the bedroom of the boy Zach. The program includes musical interludes to each character that are sung by Robert Robertson and Meir from Iceland View Recording Studio in Coffs Harbour.
