The She Trinity

The She Trinity was a Canadian- British pop group of the late 1960s with exclusively female occupation. All band members played instruments, which was quite unusual for a girl group this time.

History

The original Canadian group consisted of Shelly Gillespie, Sue Kirby and Robin Yorke. Mid-1960s they went to London; there came Pauline Moran to do so. In 1966 she got a record deal with Columbia Records. Their first single, He Fought the Law was a highly acclaimed cover version of I Fought the Law Bobby Fuller Four of.

After further singles they took 1966 Yellow Submarine before the Beatles brought out their own version. Then there were some personnel changes in the She Trinity. At times, belonged Marion " Rusty " Hill, Eileen Woodman, Janet Bailey, Barbara Thompson, Beryl Marsden and Inger Jonnsson the band, while others bailed.

In France, the group met occasionally under the name British Maid. After their last single hair, the band broke up around 1970.
