The Super Mario Brothers Super Show was an American television series, which is based on the video game character, Super Mario.

Super Mario episodes

Each episode of the series ran on the same scheme: The first and last minute of each episode consisted of the so-called Mario Bros. Plumbing sitcom in a Live Action Mario (played by Lou Albano ) and a Live Action Luigi (played by Danny Wells ) in wrong-headed situations arrive. After the first of the two sitcom segments it comes to Super Mario Bros. cartoon, an animated segment which is largely based on the video game adventures of Super Mario Bros. 2. Home video releases

In the 1990s there were several VHS releases about the series, which are now sold out. Since 2007, several episodes of Super Mario segments are available on DVD.

Continuations

The series was continued in 1990 under the title Super Mario Bros. 3 and 1991 under the title Super Mario World.
