The View (U.S. TV series)
The View is an entertainment program on ABC that is sent since 1997. The show is on the Oprah Winfrey Show, the longest running talk show in the United States. The moderation team is composed exclusively of women. This mainly discuss on topics from the fields of politics, social issues or about celebrities. A large part of the transmission time of a program is taken from an interview with a celebrity guest. The show will be broadcast Monday through Friday live from New York City.

The first years
The show started with the following presenters: Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, and Barbara Walters. Joy Behar and Barbara Walters changed from 1997 to 1998 in the weekly rhythm. Debbie Matenopoulos was with the argument that they would not fit into the mission, criticized by viewers. This opinion joined in part to critics. Therefore, ABC broke the contract with her on in 1999 and Lisa Ling became the new presenter. 2002 Lisa Ling got back from the show and joined the National Geographic Channel, a year later, Elizabeth Hessel Beck was introduced as a new co-host.
Season 10
2006 also left the show and then Meredith Vieira hosted the Today Show. During the 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Ceremony 2006 Rosie O'Donnell was introduced as the new main presenter. On 14 October 2010 Bill O'Reilly was build to host the other hand, was a Muslim Cultural Center in New York City. This led to a heated argument between the guest and the hosts Goldberg and Behar. Later in the discussion, O'Reilly said " Muslims killed us on 9/11 ". Behar stood up and said "In addition to this man I do not want to sit" and left the studio, Goldberg followed her. The ensuing applause was stopped by Walters immediately, with the words " You have just seen what should not happen. We should be able to make calls to calm and reason and no one should leave the studio. " Walters asks O'Reilly to apologize to him, and he agreed. Behar and Goldberg came back later and the interview was continued in peace. Since Season 15 Barbara Walters paused every Friday and it was the heading "Men Friday" introduced so came every Friday another male co-host of the place of Barbara Walters einahm. After Season 16 Elizabeth Hessel Beck and Joy Behar left the show and Barbara Walter announced that she will go mid 17 Squadron retired.
Season 17
Season 17 started with large changes, a new studio design and a new co-host. Joy Behar was Jenny McCarthy, Elizabeth Hessel Beck was replaced by anyone so now takes each shipment a special co-host space. In February 2014, the former main host Rosie O'Donnell was zugast, this performance received great responses. Barbara Walters is the " inventor " and last presenter of the main cast from 1997, but it is to say goodbye in the middle of Season 17 (May 2014) in the board.
