The Work Foundation

The Work Foundation is a British charitable foundation headquartered in London.

The Foundation advises the British economy as well as government and non-governmental organizations with the aim of improving economic performance, the quality of working life and the optimization of the quality of life. More than 400 organizations belong to a "partner" of the foundation. Head of the Think Tank with 60 employees since 2000, Will Hutton.

The beginnings of the foundation can be traced back to a company founded by Robert Hyde on April 3, 1918 The Boys ' Welfare Association. 1919 one changed the name to The Industrial Welfare Society.
