The World's 50 Best Restaurants

The World 's 50 Best Restaurants is a list that is published annually in April in London and has the aim to identify the current fifty best restaurants in the world.

Organization

The magazine Restaurant Magazine organized every year since 2002 the publication of the list. At its creation, the world is divided into 26 regions, each are 36 professionals responsible. These include problems Restaurant critics and chefs such as Paul Bocuse, Ferran Adrià and René Redzepi. Each Regional Council has a Chairman.

Reception

Ferran Adrià characterized the award as " the great feast of world cuisine, which goes hand in hand with a large media coverage " ( l "a gran fiesta de la cocina mundial y como tal tiene una gran repercusión mediática ". The list itself is a thermometer of the hot places of the people some of the creativity because of risk ( "un termómetro de los sitios están calientes de la gente que arriesga apuesta y por la creatividad ").

The star chef Martín Berasategui, however designated 2012 the list on which he takes up space 67, as " dizziness " ( " Patrana " ) and said that behind her stood a multinational food company which wanted to harm the Michelin Guide. Several restaurant critics refer to this list as untrustworthy.
