The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die is a 2009 founded American emo band from Willimantic (Connecticut). The band is available (as of December 2013) at Topshelf Records. She is considered one of the most important representatives of the emerging wave of emocore.

History

The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die was founded in the fall of 2009 in Willimantic (Connecticut).

So far, the band released a demo (2010), the two EPs Formlessness and Josh Is Dead, a split EP with Deer Leap ( published under the title Are Here to Help You) and the album Whenever, If Ever. The latter was released worldwide on July 18, 2013 Topshelf Records. In Topshelf Records granted or are also Defeater, Pianos Become the Teeth and Touché Amoré under contract.

Whenever, If Ever debuted at number 196 in the official U.S. charts.

In March 2013, the group played eight concerts with Finch. A performance took place in Canada in Toronto. Directly after the group played a concert tour of the United States, which lasted until mid-April. A 4 -way split EP with Tigers Jaw, Code Orange Kids and Self Defense Family was also released in 2013.

For April 2014, the band is planning a tour in Europe for the first time. On December 18, 2013 concert dates were announced for this tour. The performances will take place in Germany, Norway, France, Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, Austria, Slovakia and Sweden. As an opening act Empire was! Empire! ( I Was a Lonely Estate ) confirmed.
