The Zoo (English for " The Zoo " ) is a song by German rock band Scorpions. It was first released on the album Animal Magnetism in 1980. It was written by Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine.

Formation

Rudolf Schenker wrote the music for this item on the Love Drive Tour in a hotel in the United States. Later, Klaus Meine wrote the words to the song. The song is about a street in New York City. The singer tells of a boring day ( " ... another boring day ... "), and zoo. The title was the penultimate track of the album Animal Magnetism.

Music

The song is pretty hard and starts a quick intro of guitar and drums. Then the song goes through a slow, sluggish riff to the song of the verse begins. The chorus comes drifting. Once this has repeated Matthias Jabs serves the Talkbox. The song then ends with soft music and the talk of people on a street.
