Theater Kosmos

The theater cosmos (own spelling: Theater COSMOS ) was established in 1996 by the two artistic directors Augustin Jagg and Hubert Dragaschnig with the aim of life is to create a professional theater and an artistic project as a whole in Greater Bregenz. The content conception provides especially new pieces or world premieres and German premieres of contemporary authors in contemporary productions and equipment. By spring 2005, the venue was the back stage of the Bregenz Festspielhaus, since the autumn of 2005 the theater KOSMOS has its own house in the area Schoeller 2welten (also called " shed8 ") and there annually brings four theater productions on stage. Until the first half of 2008 already 44 productions including more than half of Austrian premieres, premieres or German premieres have been realized.
