Theatertage am See

The theater days at the lake are one of the most important international amateur theater festival, taking place in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance since 1984.

The festival is one of the biggest events of the European school, youth and amateur theater. Each year, the participants meet in the Lake Constance School St. Martin in Friedrichshafen to multi-day workshops and courses. For competitive school and youth theater productions and amateur theater productions from all over Europe are invited.

The theater days at the lake in 2009 celebrated its 25th anniversary and could then look back to a total of about 500 performances with over 5000 theater players and nearly 100,000 spectators.

The sponsoring theater days at the lake Friedrichshafen eV organizes and manages regional school projects, language support programs, theater courses and performances and theater education training for teachers. Since 2009, the club has its own Ensemble Theater Upper Swabia and Lake Constance ( TOB ) and the Youth Variety Kraball. In January 2013, the improvisational theater Utobia was founded under the auspices of the Society.

For the initiated by the club theater youth movement European Theatre Adventure 2008 innovation price of the fund is funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation was awarded socio-culture.
