Theo Custers

Theo Custers Laurent ( born August 10, 1950 in Ghent ) is a retired Belgian footballer.

Playing career

Custer began his career at SV Thor Genk Waterschei today's KRC Genk. In 1975 he moved to Royal Antwerp FC. In Antwerp he played six years before moving to Espanyol in Spain. When little brother of FC Barcelona Custer was two years between the posts. In 1983 he returned to Belgium and signed a contract with KV Mechelen. In 1986 he moved to end his career at KSV Bornem in the Belgian lower classes. Custer won a single title in his career.

Custer took part in the European Football Championship 1980 in part in Italy, where he was with the team vice European champion. With the Football World Cup 1982 in Spain the difference with the Belgians in the second round as group Last from.
