Theodore von Kármán Prize
The Theodore von Kármán Prize of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics is a prize for Applied Mathematics. It is awarded for outstanding applications of mathematics to mechanics or engineering in the previous five to ten years. It is awarded every five years and is worth $ 1,000. It is named after Theodore von Kármán.
