Thérèse Couderc

Thérèse Couderc (birth name: Marie- Victoire Courderc, born 1 February 1805 in Le Mans, France, † September 26, 1885 in Lyon, France) was a French foundress. It is regarded as a saint in the Catholic Church.

Marie- Victoire Couderc, which adopted the religious name Thérése, 1827 was a co-founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cenacle. The religious community devoted himself under the symbol of the Upper Room choral prayer, devotion to the Eucharist and the Christian education of women.

It was in 1951 by Pope Pius XII. beatified in 1970 by Pope Paul VI. canonized.
