Theresienhöhe

The Theresienhohe is a newly created district of Munich. He is part of the boroughs Schwanthalerhoehe and Sendling.

History of Theresienhohe

From 1843 to 1853 was built on the site above the Theresienwiese with the Bavaria the Hall of Fame after plans by Leo Klenzes, surrounded by Bavariapark. As of 1900, the overall concept of an exhibition park was designed by Gabriel von Seidl, the 750 anniversary of the city in 1908 it was opened.
