Serena was the end 408/Anfang 409 strangled on the orders of the Roman Senate during the siege of Rome by Alaric I, under the pretext of impiety: You had years earlier, during a visit with her uncle Theodosius I, in Rome in the temple of the Mother of the Gods Rhea of statue of the goddess removed a necklace and they are mocking themselves reassigned, an incident that you never forgave her.
