Theuderic IV

Theodoric IV ( * after 711; † between 16 March and 30 April 737 ) was the son of Dagobert III. and the second last Merovingian king of the Franks.

He was passed over 715, Chilperic II was instead appointed king over Neustria. In 716 Theodoric was transferred " to educate " the monastery Chelles. When Chilperic II died 721, certain of the house Meier Charles Martel, the actual ruler of the Frankish Empire, Theodoric as Shadow King. Sources about activities in his reign there is not. Theodoric died in 737, the throne remained until the spring of 743 unoccupied.
