Thieboudienne
Thieboudienne ( wolof ceebu Jen ) is a traditional dish from Senegal.
The term comes from the Wolof and means something like " fish with rice ". The food is mostly prepared from fresh " figud'indi " and / or Macco.
The fish is thereby filled with an onion - herb mixture and, after cooking the rice; both are then mixed with sauce and vegetables.
The preparation is quite complex and takes about two hours.
Thieboudienne is a popular hard court in the West African countries.
