Thierry Gathuessi

Thierry Gathuessi ( born April 17, 1982 in Bafoussam, Cameroon ) is a Cameroonian football player.

Between 2001 and 2005, played right outside midfielders in Montpellier. In 2005 he moved to AS Cannes, where he remained one year and then moved to FC Sète in the third French league. In 2007 he was hired by the Scottish first division club Hibernian. His first goal for Hibs fired the Cameroon in a 3-2 victory over the top club Celtic Glasgow. In 2004 Gathuessi graduated so far only match for Cameroon.

Because of his aggressive style of play Gathuessi is called by Hibernian fans based on the comic book character Hong Kong Phooey Hong Kong often Thierry.
