Thine Eyes Bleed is a Canadian Melodic-Death-Metal-/Metalcore-Band from London ( Ontario).

Band History

Thine Eyes Bleed was founded in 2002 by Justin Wolfe ( vocals), Jeff Phillips ( guitar) and Daryl Stephens (drums). Shortly thereafter met Tom Araya's brother Johnny Araya (bass) and James Reid (guitar ) joined the band. After some local live shows, the band signed in 2005 with The End Records. In the same year her debut album '' In the Wake of Separation appeared. She then played at the South by Southwest festival in Austin (Texas ) and as the opening act for Soulfly, Six Feet Under and Kittie. Opened in 2006, Thine Eyes Bleed the Unholy Alliance tour with Children of Bodom, Mastodon and Lamb of God, as well as the headliner Slayer.

In 2007, she focused on her self-titled second album, released in 2008. After losing her record deal, it was quiet around the band. A new album is already completed, the band is currently looking for a new management and a new record deal.

Music style

Thine Eyes Bleed plays Melodic Death Metal Swedish school around bands like In Flames and At the Gates and subtle influences from the New York hardcore. Occasionally, the style also Metalcore is assigned.
