Third Council of Constantinople
The Third Council of Constantinople Opel ( the sixth ecumenical council ) was held 680-681. It grappled with the Monothelitism. Among other things, I was posthumously imposed anathema because of its flexible attitude towards the Monothelites about Pope Honorius.
After interpretation of the Orthodox Synod Trullanische 691 was in the same place a continuation of the Third Council of Constantinople Opel.
