Third Dynasty of Ur

The term Ur III period (also 3rd dynasty of Ur) is the final section of the Sumerian story called ( short chronology: 2048 to 1940 BC or medium chronology: 2112-2004 BC). The term is increasingly replacing the Neusumerischen from the time its underlying assumptions are widely rejected since the 1990s.
